Abstract:Ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are among the most important mathematical tools used in producing models in the physical sciences, biosciences, chemical sciences, engineering and many more fields. This has motivated researchers to provide efficient numerical methods for solving such equations. Most of these types of differential models are stiff, and suitable numerical methods have to be used to simulate the solutions. This paper starts with a survey on the basic properties of stiff differential equatio… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
