The Expressive and Emotive Function in the Jordanian Parent-Child Interactions

Abstract: The present paper investigates the emotive and expressive socio-pragmatic function in the Jordanian parent-child interactions in Irbid City, Jordan. A sample of 100 children from different areas of Irbid was chosen randomly from schools in Irbid governorate in North Jordan. It consisted of pupils at grade 5 who are 11 years old.
