Abstract:Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) is a rare angioproliferative neoplasm associated with human herpes virus type 8 (HHV-8) infection. Kaposi's sarcoma is an AIDS defining illness. Here we report the first case of cutaneous Kaposi's sarcoma reported in Sri Lanka in an AIDS patient in 2009.
