The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is generally considered a security organization. But many of its member countries are in favor of strengthening cooperation in the economic field, and a whole series of decisions on economic cooperation was adopted on their proposal. The purpose of the article is to summarize the results, positive experiences and negative lessons of economic cooperation over the past 20 years in the field of trade, investment and finance within the framework of the SCO and to look into the future. In this direction of research based on the dialectic of materialism, the article uses positive and normative economic analysis, the paradigm of institutionalism, statistical and other methods. Asserting that economic cooperation for the sake of common prosperity and the building of a "Community of Economic Interests" is an essential component of the "Community of the Common Destiny of Mankind", and that the SCO is an essential platform for the joint coordination and promotion of the concept of "One Belt and One Road" and the common distribution of their fruits, and for the promotion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation. The article concludes that, on this platform, the Chinese and Russian initiatives "One Belt and One Road" and "Greater Eurasian Partnership" work closely together to develop infrastructure interconnections, trade facilitation and regional economic integration, resulting in the formation of the Eurasian Economic Partnership for the sake of common prosperity in the SCO region. The article also shows the challenges and difficulties that the SCO faces in its development.

Relevance. The development of the Eurasian Union means economic integration between its member countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia). For more efficient coordination of this process, it is necessary to analyze national models of economic growth and adjust the Union’s economic policy accordingly. Research objective. The study aims to identify the national models of economic growth by applying the structural analysis method and building regression models of GDP growth. Data and methods. The study relies on the structural analysis of GDP growth and regression analysis of the impact of macroeconomic policy instruments. Results. The study provides an overview of the research literature on the factors affecting economic growth (e.g. the financial structure, government expenditures. Based on the results of the structural analysis, a classification of the models of economic growth in terms of expenditures and sectors is proposed. This classification can be used to devise measures stimulating cooperation and integration within the Eurasian Union. Conclusions. The study has revealed the differences between the national models of economic growth by looking at each country’s reaction to the crises of 2009 and 2015. These differences correspond to the peculiarities of each country’s economic policy and need to be taken into account in the Union’s policy-making.

The fact that Russian Federation is situated between Western Europe and the rapidly developing countries of Southeast Asia determines the relevance of the international transport corridors development in order to create an international connection between the mentioned countries. The transit potential of Russia should be considered not only as a part of the business contributing to the growth of the Gross Domestic Product, but also as an incentive to develop various branches of industry, which results in a need for highly qualified professionals. Under the modern circular economy conditions, green logistics and a digitalization development, these processes are accompanied by increased requirements for the quality of transport services. It is required to apply new principles in the creation of international transport corridors and their managerial systems. The article discusses the impact of intermodal transportation between Europe and Asia on territorial development, as well as the main trends in implementation of such projects as Marine arterial roads, One Belt One Way and others. The intensive use of modernized powerful transport corridors can be a stimulus for the development of the territories through which they pass. Authors consider positive impact of international transport corridors on supply chains development. Simulation models have been built to examine possibilities to increase efficiency of logistic systems by means of modern technological and technical solutions.
