“…This result can reduce the form of the single component HB system as reported in our previous letter. 13 In addition, by changing the corresponding symbols, one can easily check this gelation condition recovers the result proposed by Flory and Stockmayer for polycondensation of A a -B b type. 14,15 When the SGT takes place, one can further consider the free energy corresponding to the sol and gel phases.…”

“…12 Recently, we have considered the SGT in the nonlinear HB liquid system consisting of identical A a D d type molecules (each of them possesses a proton acceptors A and d proton donors D). 13 In this paper we study a modeling system of HB solution consisting of N 1 molecules of A a1 D d1 and N 2 molecules of A h a2 D h d2 types, and the corresponding symbols have the similar interpretations as that in A a D d type. Note that, now the proton acceptor A h and proton donor D h may be identical with A and D or not, then such a system is obviously more complicated than the HB liquid system.…”

“…Experimental details about this rapidly shifting network are still elusive despite continuous effort in this area. A theoretical scaling description was recently given , for the sol−gel phase transition in water as well as in other solvents satisfying the networking condition of having at least two donor and two acceptor sites per molecule (growth of clusters up to formation of an infinite gel network of hydrogen bonds). Current work shows that long-lived huge (probably netlike) structures are seen by light scattering upon addition of solute into these classes of liquids.…”

“…Later, Wang et al. examine the effect of dehydroevodiamine on scopolamine‐ and Aβ(25–35)‐induced amnesia in mice by using a step‐through passive avoidance test . The authors note that dehydroevodiamine is more potent in improving Aβ(25–35)‐induced amnesia than in improving scopolamine‐induced amnesia when administered before the training trial.…”

“…Amiodarone and bepridil inhibit β‐secretase cleavage at therapeutically achievable concentrations in vivo in guinea pigs . Benzofuran‐ and indole‐based inhibitors such as dehydroevodiamine hydrochloride (DHED), posiphen, indomethacin, DP‐155, KMS88009, 2‐methyl‐5‐(3‐{4‐[( S )‐methylsulfinyl]phenyl}‐1‐benzofuran‐5‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazolein (MMBO), tadalafil, melatonin, and tubastatin A have been proven to be effective in a transgenic mice model of AD. A few other benzofuran‐ and indole‐based compounds such miyabenol C, indomethacin, 28 , K252a, 35 b – d , tacrine–melatonin hybrid 38 , 39 d , 64 c / 64 d , 68 d , 75 , and 77 have been tested in cellular models.…”
