Abstract: Leading up until this landmark miracle, the ethos of war and defense occupied most citizens' minds. The fine arts were of little concern, and indeed modern galleries and art museums did not flourish until the beginnings of the 21 st Century. What was pervasively thought of was primarily the Holocaust and with many future battles confronting the newly established state the concept of wars would give rise to "war museums"The Shack
