Abstract:The present study included 71 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (41 boys and 30 girls) at the age from 9 to 18 (mean 15.2 (13.6; 16.5)) years, duration of the disease 5.0 (2.5; 9) years, and the HbA1c level of 9.1% (7.0; 10.2).
