The influence of mood on the perception of hearing-loss related quality of life in people with hearing loss and their significant others

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to investigate the congruent/incongruent perceptions of hearing-loss related quality of life between members of couples and to determine how incongruence was affected by individual psychosocial characteristics, specifically measures of mood (negative affect and positive affect), stress, and communication in the marriage.
