The peaks at 382 and 486 cm –1 (Figure A, c) are assigned to TiCl 4 , , and the peaks at 606, 922, and 1072 cm –1 (Figure A, d) are assigned to TEOT . When TiCl 4 (or TEOT) was dissolved in DCM (Figure B, a and f), an obvious decrease in the peak intensity (compared to Figure A, b and d) and blue shift of approximately 2–5 cm –1 in the characteristic absorption bands (280 and 699 cm –1 for Figure A, b and 322, 390, 606, 922, 1072, and 1169 cm –1 for Figure A, d) are observed, which suggest interaction between solvent and Ti-containing compounds.…”
