THE MAGNETO-OPTICAL AND MICROSTRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF CoPt MULTILAYERS GROWN ON Ga2O3 AND ZnO

Abstract: --ColPt multilayers were evaporated in oue batch on substrates at room temperature, which were precoated with Ga203 and ZuO underlayers of various thickness. The column size of the multilayers was found increase with the thickness of underlayers. The coercivity measured from Kerr magneto-optic loops of Co/Pt multilayers increases with the column size until it reaches the maximum, ~900 Oe, at size ~7ooA, then decreases with column size.
