Abstract:Investigation of the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in the thin film of nickel hexacyanochromate obtained by “layer‐by‐layer” deposition is reported. This compound shows a sharp phase transition to a long‐range ferromagnetically ordered state at Tc = 66 K. In order to check the shape anisotropy effect, the properties of the thin film were investigated for the sample aligned parallel and perpendicular to the direction of an applied magnetic field. The demagnetizing field was smaller than the fields used to observe… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
