“…The catalytic activities of transaldolase (EC 2.2.1.2), ribose phosphate isomerase (EC 5.3.1.6) and ribulose phosphate 3-epimerase (EC 5.1.3.1) were determined as described by Clark et al (1972a). Transketolase (EC 2.2.1.1) was determined by the method (b) of Clark et al (1972b).
