Abstract:Relevance. In most countries of the world, applanation tonometers remain popular, such as the Maklakov tonometer and the Goldman tonometer. When measuring ophthalmotonus, such tonometers receive IOP values indirectly through the cornea, which certainly introduces its own errors into the measurement results.
