The Monetary Transmission Mechanism: An SVAR Analysis of the Four Municipalities in China

Abstract: This paper explores the role of housing markets in the transmission of monetary policy shocks across four Chinese municipalities, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Chongqing.
