The Neuroma Startle Sign: A Surgical Indicator of Proximity to an Injured Nerve

Abstract: Summary: During operative intervention for the treatment of symptomatic neuromas, the authors have observed a hypersensitive “startle” response to stimulation in proximity to the painful nerve.
