Abstract:The influence of an operating point on the linearity of an integrated optical lithium niobate directional coupler modulator was studied. It was found that the optimal setting for the position of an operating point for suppressing the third-order intermodulation distortion depended on the power of the high-frequency modulation signal. Thus, despite the simple design of the device, the directional coupler modulator requires a complex algorithm for setting an operating point to achieve a high linearity of operati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
