The Peer Aggressive and Reactive Behaviors Questionnaire (PARB-Q): evidence of validity in the Brazilian context

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the Peer Aggressive and Reactive Behaviors Questionnaire (PARB-Q), a self-report instrument comprising two independent scales that assess aggressive behavior and reactions to peer aggression. “…Por investigarem o mesmo construto (agressão entre pares em crianças), era hipotetizado que a correlação entre o Q-CARP e a PAB-S fosse a mais forte dentre as investigadas. Os resultados sustentaram esta hipótese, tanto para a Escala de Comportamentos Agressivos (ECA) quanto a Escala de Reação à Agressão (ERA) do Q-CARP (Borsa, 2014b).
