The Physical and Mental Impact of Surviving Sepsis – A Qualitative Open Interview Study

Abstract: Background: This study aims to illuminate how sepsis survivors experience sepsis and the impact of sepsis as well as the quality of life thereafter. Methods: A qualitative open interview study with eight sepsis survivors was performed. A content analysis inspired by Burnard was made.
