The properties of the nanometer thick Si/Ge films‐on‐insulator produced by Ge+ ion implantation and subsequent hydrogen transfer

Abstract: Variable wettability of hybrid films of thin multiwalled carbon nanotubes and silane sols is achieved by the combination of transparent and conductive carbon nanotubes with the chemical functionality of the silane compound. These superhydrophobic or superhydrophilic films may be available for such applications as the development of self‐cleaning coatings for optoelectronics.
