The Relation of the Edale Shales to the Carboniferous Limestone in North Derbyshire

Abstract: The following paper deals with the results obtained from investigations made during recent years in North Derbyshire with a view towards elucidating the relation of the so-called “Yoredale“ or “Pendleside ” Series to the Carboniferous Limestone.
