The relationship between integrons, antibiotic resistance genes and SXT resistance in Shigella flexneri strains

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the correlation between sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (SXT) resistance in Shigella flexneri (S.flexneri) and the presence of integrons and relevant antibiotic resistance genes.
