Abstract: Introduction Urticaria and angioedema belong to a heterogeneous group of diseases and it is often very difficult to determine the specific cause of clinical symptoms. Coagulation factors play an important role, and patients with chronic urticaria have elevated plasma concentrations of coagulation factor VII, prothrombin fragment 1 + 2 and D-dimers.
