The Relevance of Language Competencies in the Modeling of Intelligent Transport Systems

Abstract

The article discusses language competencies, their content and features in activities related to the modeling of intelligent transport systems. It is noted that due to the fact that the intelligent transport system is a trend of current development, it seems necessary to involve the latest competent people in modeling who can help protect the transport infrastructure. It is established that language competencies act as integrative characteristics of a person, in modern conditions they acquire special relevance and importance and are necessary for a person in various spheres of life, including when modeling intelligent transport systems. It is reasonable that language competencies contribute to the effective acquisition and use of language knowledge, are the most important indicator of the success and efficiency of the operation of the systems under consideration. As a result of the research, the authors come to the conclusion that employees in the field under consideration need to have sufficient practical knowledge of English and other foreign languages, as well as strong communication skills and greater awareness of what will entail an increase in efficiency and efficiency of activities.
