Abstract: The main intention of this work are analitical solutions of broken symmetry problems. The broken symmetry structures are divided onto random and planed. For random structures are proposed statistical methods of analysis, while for planned ones was used mathematical modelling, primary. The series of structures are investigated, starting from chains with chaotic molecular distances and finishing, with helicoidal structures of proteins.

A complete and fully developed theory of all optical phenomena (refraction, reflection, absorption, and transparency) and the corresponding optical properties of ultrathin crystalline films (optical indices) are presented in this paper, especially along the direction in which the structure is spatially limited (perpendicular to surfaces). While these indices depend on the position of the crystallographic plane (where the mentioned optical phenomena occur) with respect to the two interfaces, these values can be measured/determined in experiments only for the film as a whole. For these reasons, it is important to answer the question of how to define these optical indices precisely.

Summary: Application of nano-structures requires a knowledge of their fundamental physical (mechanical, electro-magnetic, optical, etc.) characteristics. Thermodynamic properties associated with phonon displacements through the nanosamples are particularly interesting. Independent of the type of lattices, the thermodynamics of their subsystems (electrons, excitons, spin waves, etc.) is determined when the subsystem is in thermodynamic equilibrium with phonons. Phonons are collective mechanical oscillations of molecules or atoms and represent the most important system of excitations. Besides, the acoustical characteristics as well as conductive and superconductive properties etc. could not be realistically explained without phonons. In this paper we will try to observe the difference between the characteristics of different nano-crystalline structures: ultrathin films, composite films, i.e. superlattices, nanorods and quantum dots, we were interested in whether the quantum size effects (quantum confinement), quantum (de)coherence and influence of boundary conditions, strengthen or weaken in nanosamples. The influence of size effects on thermal conductivity is becoming extremely important for device design and reliability. Internal energy as well as heat capacitance will also be analyzed.

This paper analyzes micro-characteristics (single-particle wave functions, the dispersion law of elementary excitations) of sandwich structures. Such structures have exceptional properties and have become current issues in the light of relatively recent discoveries in crystalline structures such as boron nitride-graphene-boron nitride. In our case, structures with a simple cubic lattice are analyzed, but the results can be applied to the structures with monoclinic and triclinic lattices.
