Abstract:The effect of three kinds of fuels used to supply a diesel engine on its characteristics, fuel consumption, and emissions was studied. The fuels comprised pure diesel, a blend of diesel with 6% of methyl ester of yellow grease in the form of rapeseed oil, and a blend of diesel with methyl ester of brown grease in the form of goose fat.
