The Research on Substation Planning Based on Density-Means Clustering Algorithm

Abstract

In this paper, for the site selection of the electric substation planning, according to the characteristics of the electric substation load, the k-means clustering algorithm based on density method is presented. Through the analysis of the existing load distribution and electric substation type of its capacity, to determine the clustering center, the radius and density distribution, in combination with GIS data processing function, and in a substation load rate and power supply radius as constraint conditions, the sting of station of electric substation and the supply district are determined, quality of power supply is improved, and the investment and operating cost are reduced. The results of the simulation example demonstrate the superiority and the economy of the algorithm.
