The retropancreatic fusion fascia is recognized as the anatomical landmark during retropancreatic mobilization. However, its role in D2 total gastrectomy for proximal advanced gastric cancer (PAGC) remains unexplored. This study aimed to develop the retropancreatic fusion fascia-oriented
