Abstract:The problem of computing the lattice thermal conductivity and the phonon-drag contribution to the electrical resistivity in presence of normal phonon-phonon processes is examined in the framework of the Boltzmann-Callaway equation. A previous treatment for the lattice thermal conductivity of insulating crystals by Callaway arid Krumhansl is appropriately extended in order to treat the properties of interest. The so-obtained expressions for the lattice thermal conductivity and the phonon-drag contribution are p… Show more
Herein, we demonstrate superheating-assited dynamic recrystallization in a d-tartaric acid, which nearly attains an ideal crystal structure and morphology at 100-shocked conditions and the results are evaluated by XRD, Raman and SEM techniques.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
