“…The idea for this study arose after the First and the Second SWEPs (Mediterannean Seminar on Science Writing, Editing and Publishing), held in Sarajevo in 2016 and 2018, and after we in a previous study ( 103 - 105 ), were analyzing errors in statistical analysis of data in articles indexed in WoS journals, with IF ranging from 2.5 to 4.5, and found a large number of methodological errors. We came to the conclusion that the editors of journals and their associates, as well as mentors of master’s and doctoral theses (because a large number of published papers were taken from the content of these defended theses) had insufficient knowledge in the field of Medical Statistics.…”
