The significance of multiplex PCR/heteroduplex analysis‐based TCR‐γ gene rearrangement combined with laser‐capture microdissection in the diagnosis of early mycosis fungoides
Abstract:The strategy of multiple PCR/heteroduplex analysis for TCR-γ gene rearrangement combined with LCM increases the detection rate of clonal TCR-γ gene rearrangement in early MF cases and could provide strong evidence to confirm the diagnosis of early MF.
“…Indeed, tumour and surrounding cells constitute a microenvironment in which interactions and cross‐talks take place, thereby influencing gene expression in all cells . These reciprocal effects may be lost if the analysis is carried out on isolated tumour cells only, providing a partial or distorted view of the tumour biology . In addition, no correlation was found between the lymphoid infiltrate and the prognosis.…”
Epigenetic silencing of specific biomarkers can predict the risk of disease progression in early-stage MF, providing insights into its pathogenesis, prognosis and therapy.

“…También se ha usado electroforesis microcapilar de alta resolución por medio del equipo Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (33). Se puede hacer el análisis de fragmentos de doble cadena (formación de heterodupletas) y el de productos de una sola cadena (34,35). Con el fin de inducir la formación de heterodupletas, los productos de la PCR multiplex se someten a calentamiento y enfriamiento rápido (36).…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
