Abstract: Coxsackievirus B represents a nightmare for a large number of medical staff. Due to exposure to Coxsackievirus in closed spaces (ambulances and waiting rooms), infections by Coxsackievirus B are a common occurrence. This paper for the first time reports chemical and thermodynamic properties of Coxsackieviruses A and B, and offers a mechanistic model of Coxsackievirus-host interaction.
