Abstract:Supported atomically dispersed metal catalysts are at the frontier of catalysis research, promising combined advantages of well-defined sites and high selectivity, with high stability and easy separation characterizing solid catalysts. We report that addition of an organic chelating agent in the final stage of impregnation, allows the metal precursor to be anchored and isolated without the need for anchoring sites on the support. The resulting isolated atoms are characterized with scanning transmission electro… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
