Abstract:Osteoporosis weakens bones. Falling or bumping increases the risk of bone fracture. Due to its lack of symptoms, many people are unaware they have it until they fracture. Bone mineral density testing is a safe, fast, and painless approach to detect osteoporosis or its risk.
