“…Northern China is marked by unusually active intraplate seismicity and Quaternary tectonic movement (Ye et al, 1985;Nábělek et al, 1987). Previous studies indicate that most faults in the Tangshan seismic region, such as the Tangshan fault belt, the Luanzhou-Laoting fault, the Changli-Ninghe fault, and the Jiyunhe fault, were created by Late Pleistocene-Holocene tectonic activity (Li et al, 1998;You et al, 2002;Jiang, 2006;Guo and Zhao, 2019).
