Examining nurses' humanistic behaviour ability and empathy levels in clinical practice: A descriptive and exploratory study

“…It was determined that there was a significant difference between the nursing communication ability sub-dimension of the nurses included in the research, those who were women, those whose income was higher than their expenses, those who chose the profession willingly, those who work constantly during the day and those who work in the clinical service. Our study findings in the literature revealed what follows: Women (Dalokay & Aydin, 2023), those whose income exceeds their expenses (Dada et al, 2023), those who choose the profession willingly (Sahin & Elibol, 2023), those who work constantly during the day and those who work in clinical services (Dalokay & Aydin, 2023), have high communication ability.…”

It is also emphasised in the literature that the economic situation has a positive effect on psychological adjustment, as it allows the individual to carry out daily life activities without causing restrictions in the environment in which he lives (Dada et al., 2023). It is thought that choosing a profession voluntarily results in better psychological adjustment, as one feels more competent and successful.…”
