Abstract:ABSTRACf. The application of time-resolved fluorescence quenching method to the determination of the size of micelles and oil-in-water or water-in-oil microdroplets is described. It is also shown that this method gives information on dynamic processes occurring in micellar solutions and microemulsions. In this account the scope and limitations of the method are discussed with special emphasis placed on the assumptions used to interpret the fluorescence decay data and on the selection of appropriate probe and q… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
