“…Research in this field has been going on for more than a hundred years, but the amount of research produced is far less than the short burst of Covid19-related research (Y. Chen et al, 2021;Wang et al, 2023;Zhang et al, 2022). There are several possible reasons for this: MPS is a rare disease with a low incidence, and thus may attract less research attention (Platt, 2018); The lack of public awareness of MPS may affect the raising of research funds and the promotion of research; Due to the limited number of MPS patients, there are few clinical data available for research, which may limit the depth of research and the development of new treatment methods.…”

“…The number of variable labels displayed in the visualization map can be controlled by adjusting the threshold. 38 We generated a thesaurus file to exclude or consolidate similar terms, selected Full counting for the calculation, and adjusted the threshold to control the number of variable labels. VOSviewer was used to perform co-authorship analyses of countries and organizations, bibliographic coupling analyses of journals, citation analyses of the most-cited publications, and co-occurrence analyses of keywords.…”

“…Nodes exhibiting high centrality (> 0.1) are commonly regarded as pivotal or critical points in a field. 36 The modularity ( Q value) and mean silhouette scores ( S value) were utilized in the cluster analysis to assess the overall structural characteristics of the network, with the cluster quality of the cluster map being satisfactory when Q > 0.3 and S > 0.5.…”
