Abstract:Homicide, suicide, or accident – elemental intoxication may be a cause in each of these types of deaths. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP‐MS) has emerged as the gold standard analytical method for toxic metal analysis in both clinical and forensic settings.
