“…O objetivo deste artigo é examinar os múltiplos desdobramentos do A. aegypti e dos mosquitos em geral como temática da historiografia e das ciências sociais, com ênfase nos "estudos sociais das ciências", explorando as diferentes temporalidades envolvidas em seu histórico, bem como pontos de controvérsia entre as diferentes abordagens empregadas nesses estudos.
