Theoretical and Methodological Approaches to the Understanding the Category «innovative Activity» in the Economy

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the research of the concept and substance of the category «innovative activity». We found out, that there is no unified, generally accepted interpretation of this category. It should be emphasized, that for the further investigation of innovative activity we need to understand clearly what it is. In the article we provided and considered available theoretical and methodological approaches to its understanding. The article presents the author´s interpretation of the category "innovative activity". We highlighted distinctive features of the innovative activity, which reveal its economic substance.
