In the conditions of full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the functioning of transport companies has become one of the main factors that ensure a certain level of economic and social stability in the country, as well as national security. The article is devoted to the study of factors that affect the performance of transport companies during the period of active military operations and the determination of a set of measures to increase it. In conditions of rapid and poorly predicted changes, focusing onfinancial results to evaluate the company's performance becomes unproductive. This necessitates the use of key performance indicators of business processes (key performance indicators, KPI). Six basic KPI for transport companies are identified, namely thecompleted order, timeliness of delivery, timeliness of processing documents, average cost per unit of transported products, the ratio of transportation and sales costs, and the level of disposal. It was found that in conditions of active military operations, the performance of transport companies is affected by (1) the degree of destruction of the transport infrastructure, which affects the volume of transportation of goods, passengers and luggage and the possibility of their implementation in general; (2)peculiarities of transport products, namely its intangible nature, i.e. significant direct dependence of the volume of transportation work of transport companies on the reduction of the volume of products produced by enterprises of various industries; (3)blocking customs, which led to an increase in the time of delivery of goods, an increase in the cost of delivery, and a decrease in the volume of transportation. The level of destruction suffered by the railway infrastructure, road infrastructure, aviation infrastructure, and port infrastructure, the amount of direct and indirect damage were analyzed. It was determined that in the conditions of active military operations, it is possible to increase the efficiency of transport companies by applying a set ofmeasures, which will include (1) the introduction of new technologies; (2) expanding the network of partners; (3) focusing on high-margin products and services.
