“…We have recently developed and applied [7] following Brauner Briggs and Klar [ 8] a procedure using the double continuum correlated BBK wave function, which contains by its nature the electron-electron correlation of the final state electrons (10), to the calculations of the triple differential cross section (TDCS) of the ionization of hydrogen in its metastable (2 s) state. Our aim in this paper is to extend, in a first place, this procedure to the determination of the TDCS of the ionization of lithium using a model potential, which takes in consideration the inner electrons, to compare them to existing results [5,6], to study the similarities that should exist with the ionization of the excited hydrogen atoms, and finally to present some favourable kinematical situations for experiments.…”
