Abstract:Subject classification: 75.50.Bb; S1.1The tendency of iron-based glasses to show non-monotonic changes of Curie temperature (T C ) as well as a dependence of the magnetic behavior on the metalloid atoms alloying with iron, was examined by magnetic measurements and Mö ssbauer spectroscopy. Depending on the metalloid/iron ratio and on the range in which T C is manifested, the average increase of T C per Fe atom substituted by a metalloid one varies from about 7 C to 26 C. The non-monotonic changes of T C are asc… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
