Abstract:We consider the effect of a thermal bath on quantum correlations induced by the gravitational interaction between two massive cat states. Entanglement (measured by the concurrence) and quantum coherence (measured by the l1-norm) are analyzed from the thermal quantum density operator. We investigate and discuss the behavior of these quantities under temperature variations in different regimes, including some that are expected to be experimentally feasible in the future.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
