An analysis of heat and mass transfer is carried out under the influence of chemical reaction, friction heating, and heat generation/absorption over a curved surface. The impacts of random motion attributes of nanoparticles and thermophoresis are also applied in the expressions of energy and concentration. With the help of assigned transformations, the nonlinear partial differential equations are changed to dimensionless nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Then, the numerical solution is obtained using fourth-fifth order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method via the shooting technique. The impacts of relevant parameters on velocity, temperature, and concentration are depicted through graphs and tables. The results illustrate that the lowest concentration distribution of nanofluid is related to the higher value of chemical reaction parameter. Moreover, it is found that thermophoresis and Brownian motion parameters have a propensity to increase the temperature profile while curvature parameter decreases the velocity profile. Also, velocity and temperature fields show a similar behavior for the increasing values of volume fraction of the nanoparticles, while a reverse trend is observed in the concentration profile under the same condition. To authenticate the results of the current study, the obtained data were compared with previously published data.

The study depicts the variations in the hydromagnetics flow of a Careau fluid in a semi permeable curved channel with convective boundary condition. Furthermore, Rosseland approximation is also considered to analyze the non-linear thermal radiation effects. Curvilinear co-ordinates system has been adopted for the mathematical modeling of the flow equations. The attained set of governing equation are then converted into non-linear dimensionless differential equations, by making use of similarity variables which are later treated by shooting method. In addition, the Newton's Raphson method is also incepted to improve the accuracy of the obtained numerical result. The velocity field and temperature distributions are affected by various involved parameter which are presented in graphs and in table form. It is noticed that the velocity profiles are influenced by the change in the Weissenberg number

In this study effect of radiation on the viscoelastic Walter-B fluid is investigated with heat sink/source. Sakiadis, Blasius, and stagnation point flows are considered at constant surface temperature. Some suitable similarity variables have been utilized to transform governing equations into ODE. An iterative approach based on the Legendre wavelet spectral collocation method is applied for the solution of the resulting equations. The obtained results are validated by plotting the residual error curves in each case. Temperature and heat transfer rate at wall are analyzed to investigate the influence of involved parameters. It is found that the Legendre wavelet spectral collocation method is very efficient and can be employed for the solutions of various non-Newtonian flow problems.
