Abstract:Thienyltriazine (TT) is a C3h symmetric system consisting of an acceptor core and donor arms. Here we report the design, synthesis and characterization of a series of aryl (naphthalene, NP; benzodithiophene, BDTP; BODIPY, BDPY; hexyl thiophene, HT; imidazole, IMZ; indole, IN) functionalized thienyltriazine containing star molecules (TTNP, TTBDTP, TTBDPY, TTHT, TTIMZ and TTIN).
