Thinking transtheoretically about alliance and rupture: Implications for practice and training

Abstract: Repairing alliance ruptures has the potential to serve as a powerful mechanism of change in psychotherapy. In this article, a transtheoretical individual-specific framework for repairing alliance ruptures is proposed.
