Thioflavin S Staining and Amyloid Formation Are Unique to Mixed Tauopathies

Abstract: Tau phosphorylation, aggregation, and toxicity are the main drivers of neurodegeneration in multiple tauopathies, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and frontotemporal lobar degeneration with tau.
