“…Although there are many studies about the effect of IPP on corporate innovation behaviors, most literature has examined the impact of China's overall level of IPP from the perspective of IP demonstration city policy (Xia et al, 2023), which does not focus on IPJP. For IPJP, some researchers have analyzed the effect of IPJP on corporate innovation based on the establishment of the IP courthouse in 2014 (Song et al, 2023), but the policy scope of the IP courthouse is limited, only in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou that with high‐level administration and good economic development, which may lead to regression bias. The IP court policy was implemented in 2017 and covered more than 20 provinces and cities in China, so it could be more representative to verify the relationship between IPJP and corporate innovation.…”
