“…These size-correlated aspects of MS While the results of our Procrustes-based analyses provide readily interpretable visualization of size-correlated differences in relative MS shape, the results of our analyses of linear measurements provide important insights into the absolute directionality and magnitude of these scaling relationships. As found by numerous previous studies (Akhlaghi et al, 2017;Amin & Hassan, 2012;Butaric, 2013;Fernandes, 2004a;Paknahad et al, 2017;Sahlstrand-Johnson et al, 2011;Teixeira et al, 2020;Teke et al, 2007;Tillier, 1977), our study found anteroposterior length to consistently be the largest dimension of the MS, followed in magnitude by superoinferior height, and mediolateral width.
